MAHE Cultural Coordination Committee Hosts a Vibrant Children’s Day Celebration with ‘Ranga Nade’

The Cultural Coordination Committee (CCC) of Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) organized a memorable cultural evening on 14 November 2025 at the Dr. TMA Pai Halls, KMC, Manipal, as part of the Children’s Day celebrations. I got an opportunity to witness that programme along with my wife Dr. Shreemathi S. Mayya. The event brought together young talents, traditional art lovers, and the university community for a delightful showcase of music and Yakshagana.

The evening began with a soothing light flute concert performed by young artists Master Sampreeth Nayak and Master Srijan Nayak. Their soulful melodies set the tone for an enchanting cultural experience, earning generous appreciation from the audience.

This was followed by ‘Ranga Nade’, a Yakshagana Poorvaranga and Oddolaga presentation by the renowned troupe Yaksha Geetham, Udupi. The performers brought to life the traditional vibrancy of Yakshagana through:
