On 14th November
2022, I had the opportunity to visit the
Shivarama Karanth Theme Park in Kota with my wife, Shreemathi. We also took part in the religious ceremony at the residence of Dr. Manjunath Prasad, who was a colleague of Shreemathi at Prasanna School of Public Health. The park is
named after the famous Indian writer, Shivarama Karanth, who was born in the
nearby town of Kota. The park is dedicated to Karanth's love for nature, and it
is a beautiful tribute to his life and legacy.
As soon as we entered the
park, we were struck by the sheer beauty of the place. The park is spread over
a vast area of lush greenery, with various species of trees and plants creating
a serene and tranquil atmosphere. The pathways were well-maintained, and there
were plenty of benches and picnic tables scattered around the park.
We then headed to the Lake
Garden, which is a beautiful section of the park that features a large lake
surrounded by lush greenery. The lake is home to various species of fish, and
we enjoyed watching them swim around the crystal clear water. There were also
plenty of ducks and other water birds that added to the beauty of the place.
One of the unique features of
the park is the Treehouse, which is a beautiful wooden structure built around a
large tree in the park. The treehouse offers a panoramic view of the entire
park and is a perfect spot to relax and soak in the beauty of nature.
Throughout our visit, we were
impressed by the park's dedication to the conservation of nature and the
environment. The park has several displays and exhibits that showcase the
importance of biodiversity and the need to protect our natural resources.
In conclusion, our visit to the Shivarama Karanth Theme Park was a delightful experience. The park's dedication to preserving nature and promoting environmental awareness is truly inspiring. I would highly recommend visiting this park to anyone who loves nature and wishes to learn more about its wonders.
