🌊✨ A Memorable Engagement by the Sea! 💍🌴

Today, I had the wonderful opportunity to participate in the engagement ceremony of Dr. Navya Bhat and Dr. Rohith Bhat, the lovely daughter and future son-in-law of Mr. Umesh Bhat, a close relative of Shreemathi. The ceremony took place on 27th December 2024 at the breathtaking Sai Radha Heritage Beach Resort, located in Uchila, Padu, Udupi District. 💐👩‍❤️‍👨

It was my first time witnessing an engagement ceremony amidst the picturesque coastal beauty of a beachside resort — and what an unforgettable experience it was! 🌅✨ The entire event was held under the open sky, with the sound of the waves gently in the background, cool sea breeze brushing past, and warm lights adding a magical glow to the evening. 🌊🌟


Sai Radha Heritage Beach Resort is truly a hidden gem! 🏖️ Nestled right on the shore, it beautifully blends traditional coastal architecture with modern comforts. The resort offers cozy cottages, sea-view seating areas, lush greenery, and direct access to the serene beach. 🌴🏡 Whether it's for a relaxing holiday or a grand celebration, the place offers a perfect escape into nature.

Both Shreemathi and I thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance — the tranquil setting, the scenic beach, and the excellent arrangements made for the ceremony. 🍃🌺 The highlight of the evening, apart from the engagement, was the specially curated food! The dishes were a delicious mix of traditional coastal flavors and contemporary cuisine, served with elegance and warmth. 🍛🍤🥗

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Mr. Umesh Bhat and Mrs. Vijayalakshmi Bhat for inviting us to be a part of this joyous occasion. 🙏💖 Their hospitality and attention to detail made the celebration truly special.

A Memorable Journey: Attending a Sahasra Chandra Darshana Celebration in Bangalore

We must attend certain family functions, as the family is a web of social relationships that binds us. I recently attended the Sahasra Chandra Darshana celebration for my niece's uncle, who resides in Kamala Nagar, Bangalore. As planned, I reserved my seat on the Panchaganga Express, which connects Bangalore and Karwar. I embarked on my journey to Bangalore on the 12th of July at 8:45 pm from Manipal, with my son, Dr. Arun Mayya, accompanying me to Udupi Railway Station. The train arrived at Udupi station at 9:20 pm. Travelling on the Panchaganga Express was an excellent experience. It is known for its scenic route, convenience, comfort, punctuality, and reliability. The train's arrival time in Bangalore at 7:15 am is particularly convenient. True to its reputation, the train reached KSR Bangalore on time. Upholding Academic Quality Through Ethical Conduct: A Personal Reflection

Quality within any educational institution is fundamentally determined by the people who work there; it cannot be imposed solely by top management or the Vice Chancellor. Furthermore, labelling the entire system as corrupt is inconsistent if we, as stakeholders, continue to support or enable such corruption. When I learned of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) arresting professors from reputed institutes for allegedly inflating grades, I could not help but think that these interventions should have occurred a decade ago. During my tenure as a NAAC Peer Team Coordinator in one of the colleges, I witnessed a commendable stance taken by Dr. Vijay Joshi, former Principal of K. J. Somaiya College of Science and Commerce, who accompanied me as a member of the NAAC Peer Team.
