Attended an event, "Aatidonji Dina" by Rt. Karunakar Shetty

I am delighted to share with you about the Aatidonji Dina Dinner that took place on 30th July 2022, which was hosted by none other than Rotarian Karunakar Shetty, Founder Member of the ABC Laughter Team in Manipal. The event was held at Prarthana Heritage, Shantinagar, Manipal, and was attended by all the members of the ABC Laughter Team.

The highlight of the program was undoubtedly the delicious Tulu Nadu dishes served during the dinner. The menu included mouth-watering dishes such as urpel aritha ganji, tharayida chatni, pelakkayida gatti, kudutha saru, patrode, uppad, neeru dose, paneer masala, gobi camchuri, chicken chilly, chicken ghee roast, kundapura chicken, dry fish chatny, maruvai sukka, bolanje fry, and many others. The food was simply amazing, and we enjoyed every bite of it.

During the event, Major Radhakrishna thanked all the members for their active participation in making the dinner a success. Sri Ashok Kumar Shetty contributed to the logistics, while Sri Rajmohan made all the necessary local arrangements. I would also like to express my heartfelt gratitude to Sri Chittaranjan Hegde, the brother of our founder member, Sri Hemanath Hegde, for providing the premises of Prarthana Heritage freely to organize the dinner.

Overall, it was a wonderful evening filled with delicious food, great company, and lots of laughter. The event provided an excellent opportunity for all of us to come together and celebrate our bond as a team. I am looking forward to many more such events with my ABC Laughter Team members in the future.

Healthy Jack fruit: It was pleasure to eat with all the members.

It was indeed a rare moment, Sri Karunakar Shetty, our senior member brought a Jackfruit to be distributed to the members at the MJC Grounds. Within a minute, the members consumed the tasty jackfruits. During the previous day, our members also brought more than 10 Jack Fruits and distributed them to all the members. Rain or Shine, Laughing is Fine

Barkur Shankar Shetty, our founder Member is in US

 It is usual that our members visit US, UK and many other foreign countries. As usual, this month Sri Shankar Shetty visited his son’s house at US. Some of the snaps of his family are given below:

Laughing Club Members are always health conscious

All the  members of the ABC Laughing Team also conscious about their health. They go to MIT Swimming Pool or Udupi Swimming Pool. For example, Ranjan, DR Shenoy, Shankar Shetty, Balakrishna Shetty, Laxman Amin, Karunakar Shetty, Mayya, Divakar Alva and many others go to MIT Swimming Pool regularly. On every full moon day or Amavasye, they go to Malpe Beach and swim in Arabian Sea. Some old photos are given below:
