On April 24, 2024, I had the pleasure of attending the reception of Preetam, the son of Dr. Sadanand R. Shet, a retired Associate Professor from MGM College, Udupi. Preetam's wedding to Krupa had taken place two days earlier, on April 22, at the Karnataka Patel Bhavan in Bangalore. The reception was hosted at the Sheshashayana Hall within Kediyoor Hotel, Udupi.
The event was a wonderful gathering of friends and colleagues, including notable figures such as Prof. Anand Bhat, Mrs. Leelavathi U, Prof. Dayananda Shetty, Prof. Sheshappa Rai, Prof. Kiranmai Rai, Prof. Krishnamurthi, Prof. Jayashri, Prof. Umesh Pai, and Sri Sudhindra, the owner of Bharath Petroleum, Baindur, among others. After enjoying the company and the lunch, I returned to my home in Manipal Eshwar Nagar, reflecting on the joyous occasion.
